I hear ya, I lost one of my female Dobermans about 2 months ago, her name was Angel, she was 11. You get so attached to them, it's like losing your kid:(

Yup. At one point there were 2 cats, an iguana and the Rottie running around the house. He was the last of the bunch, so now the house is petless and felt incredibly depressing for the first few weeks.
