I think the only damn good looking cars these days that aren't really expensive are the 3 muscle bro's and the only nice looking one coming out of the asian nation is the 350z, all other cars look like JUNK!

all other cars should be run off the road for being so ugly ya know what i mean

The challenger is my favorite. You'll be lucky to get a nice one for 30k flat though.

Maybe it's just a bad picture, but the one on the bottom looks butt-ugly.

That really was a nice looking machine. Chevy should have brought the model over when they dissolved Pontiac.

If we're talking purely about looks then out of those you posted I'd go with the challenger. If I could pick any car purely based on how it looks for around $30,000 then I'd get an Alfa 159 (around £25,000).

I like when there are a bunch of cars of a certain quality, then a car comes through that's clearly superior. Of course, it's better to see the best cars in packs, but it's still refreshing.

My Chevelle/Malibu.

As for a new car I wouldn't buy anything in the 30k range they just don't make cars like they use to. I'd maybe get an SRT8 challenger but that's like 48k.

Edit- after looking at the specs of the SRT8 Challenger I change my mind the HEMI is totally overrated post 1970s.

Well the 350z is the old model, Nissan is on the 370z now which is uglier in my opinion. The challenger looks good from some angles but the bottom is too droopy. Also the car is heavy and slow and the interior is ugly. The camaro I'm not too crazy about how it looks, though it's not ugly. I'm interested in a revision with more power and better styling. The mustang is really a great performer (faster than the other 2) and looks the best of those 3 muscle cars. The only problem with the mustang is that everybody and their grandma owns one so I would never buy one.

I know quite some people at OT dislike odd and futuristic style vehicles, but I'm loving the redesigns from Kia and Hyundai.

Someone completely ruined the Nissan in that picture. As for a $30,000 car, Alfa Romeo's are beautiful cars, much more so than the ugly muscle cars posted.

This. You can get a way better looking used car for $30k than if you buy brand new.

You could get TWO great used cars for that price. I'll never understand why so many people buy a brand new car unless they won the lotto or are rich.

Also I don't think that 350z would even be drivable on the streets as it's way too low and the body kit is basically scraping the floor. Go too fast over a speedbump or pothole and there goes your front bumper and exhaust.

I own a 2011 Camaro myself lol. As for the Z im sure it has some kind of hydraulics that raises it to driving level. Also you really cant compare used cars because then really it's infinite and far too broad.

If we're talking about new cars, I have to rank the Nissan 370z right up there near the top in that price range. I think the 350z was a more elegant, better-flowing design, and a better-looking car (biased because I own an 07 myself), but the 370 is sexy too. Z-cars have almost always offered a level of exotic good looks that are usually reserved for much more expensive cars. I also really like the current-style Mustangs. Challengers and Camaros are just too damn big and bulky IMO.. especially the Challenger. The body shape is sexy, but they made it too big. The Mazda RX-8 is a very unique, good-looking car, as is the MX-5 Miata. I have to throw the Hyundai Genesis coupe into this discussion too. Hyundai did a lot of things right with that car, and it looks damn good.

Gotta go with the Challenger, as it has a good engine. That pic of the Z, looks like the tires aren't in alignment. To be honest, I'm about an inch away from buying a new Chrysler 300, as they put an 8-speed automatic in it. Manual slap shift will be fun on that tranny.:P

The Z in that pic has what's called negative camber. People often set their cars up that way intentionally because it helps the handling while sacrificing tire life.

Camaro > all.

I want one now. But It's about $15000 more than my budget. I don't wan to to blow half a year's pay on a car, that's foolish.

I was gonna say the Camaro SS 2010, my friend has it and it's a beast of a car. He attracts a lot of attention with it. You don't see modern american muscle cars often in Germany.
