Disturbed's first album is nu metal and they became more alternative metal after that. For me, I'll say (old) Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Saxon, Pantera, Machine Head, (old) Korn, (old) Slipknot, Mudvayne, (older) Static X, (old) In Flames, Fear Factory, Angra, Green Carnation, Nevermore, and many others...All That Remains and In Flames...and i'd say Disturbed..but i'm not sure if they're Nu-Metal or Hard Rock...:?

Disturbed songs are like the one-hit wonders of metal.
[QUOTE="ArmoredCore55"]Angra, Green Carnation, NevermoreDarth-CaedusYes!:D *bro-fist* *bro-fist to you, too* I'm listening to Symphony-X, atm.
Wintersun, Kalmah, Iron Maiden, Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Children of Bodom (old), In Flames (old), Metallica (old), Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth, Norther, The Black Dahlia Murder, Black Sabbath, Dark Tranquility, Devildrive, Equillibrium, Insomnium, Tool, Pantera, Kreator, Slayer, Sepultura. You can almost put an "old" before the majority of these...Bands that are around longer tend to have better music when they start, the only band that gets progressively better out of this list would be Dahlia or Amarth.

How are they "one hit wonders" if multiple songs are involved..:|

What? Not metal? MTV lied to me. :(
Hillary Duff is pop, Whaba is Indie, BrokeNCYDE is crunkcore, and Linkin Park is rap-rock mixed with nu metal. Although, I don't consider Linkin Park metal at all. :P[QUOTE="St_JimmyX"]
