He's probably suggesting that Mustaine created it...which is absurd. I like Megadeth, but RTL is definitely a Metallica album.
I dont think he even knows what Mustaine had to do with it, let alone who he is.
It's funny, he considers Metallica as the founders of thrash metal, yet when you look at it, Dave influenced 3 of the big 4, cos really back when he was around no one else (barring Cliff because him and Dave weren't together long) really knew how to play, let alone play good. Then he had Megadeth, which had Kerry King so it would've rubbed off on him. In hindsight, Dave Mustaine 'practically', I say that because its not definate, created thrash.

Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer all formed in the same year so I don't see how Metallica could have founded thrash And then there's Venom Overkill, and Motorhead who were performing years before all three of them.
