Modern meaning 2000-2008. I think This is England. London to Brighton, 28 days later, Severance, and Dead man's shoes ae my favorites.

At first, I thought it was going to actually try something new. Particularly related to the whole military occupation and stuff.

I agree, the whole setup was dumb and the movie didnt even makes sense. The Virus was in paris and new york in the first one, but for some reason at the end of 28 weeks later the virus has just reached Paris? Shame, the actor who plays the dad Robert Caryle is one of my favorite actors.

i thought she was good in it, as well as James Mcavoy, I thught the plot was good, the story, music, the film looks great, the beach long track scene is amazing, extremely sad ending, I found it to be one of the better films of last year.

You have to be careful with British Films, just because the actors are british doesn't mean the film is. for example atonement and love actually are not classed as british by the bbfc because they both are produced by american production companies.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was 1999.

What Film-Guy said, plus Snatch, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead.

Football Factory was just terrible, though.

That's the trouble with that film, though. It is extremely far fetched and unrealistic.

I'm gonna say V for Vendetta. I know the author hated it, but I quite liked it. And I know it's not truly a British film but its setting is enough for me to consider it so
