Best movie death scenes?

1. Captain Rhodes- Rhodes was such a jerk and his death is one of the most disgusting yet so satisfying.

2. The pool scene is let the right one in- One of the most epic yet offscreen deaths I have ever seen, it is shot so perfectly and only gives hints as you see the kid get dragged over the water and pulled up and various limbs fall into the pool. Awesome:D

3. The bridge on the river kwai- "What have I done?" those who have seen this movie know what I mean here.

4. The famous psycho shower scene.

5. The famous bomb riding sequence in Dr. Strangelove

6. Bonnie and clyde end scene

7. If...- The end of the headmaster during the films fantastic shootout sequence

8. Butch cassidy and the sundance kid ending

9. The Wild bunch final shootout- one of the best shootout scenes ever.

This is going to sound lame, but I liked the way bthat Transformer died in the first Transformers movie. The tiny guytries to fight the big bad guy, saying "you want a piece of me?".. The big guy says "No, I want two" and tear the little guy in half. Awesome.

Nightmare on Elm Street when the girl is sleeping and gets torn up and thrown in the air. So much blood from a tiny girl. Also, there was good deaths in the first Final Destination.

I like the notable deaths of Scarface, Day of the Dead, and Dog Day Afternoon.

Ah, the Final Destination movies... How could I forget... Anyways, I also liked the death in Beowulf - when they first fight the Grendel, it carefully bites off some guy's head... Nice..

Capt. Miller dies and Darth Vader dies.

As already mentioned this is the best death scene ever. There shouldn't even be a question as to why. His final words pretty much cements it.

Actually, the death of the soldiers in Day of the Dead are some of the best death scenes ever.

Unnamed soldier watch his mouth work and move even after it's been ripped off and listen to his scream while it happens.

The crazy guy in Independence Day who claims to have been kidnapped by aliens.

His missile jams, so he flies straight into the alien ship and blows it up along with himself.

sean connery dieing in the untouchables was hilarious. somebody empties a clip from a tommy gun into him (gigantic bullets). he then crawls back into his house, waits a while for kevin cosner, tells him his final leads, and does some sort of crossword thingy as in his last breath.

the final scene of there will be blood was pretty ****ing awesome. so many laughs. i got about as much of a pleasure out of it as plainview.

fargo was full of great death scenes. the woodchipper scene needs no explanation. the father-in-law sprays stuffing out of his big goofy coat. geaer's reaction to the wife is classic. i could go on and on.

the getaway's first half builds up to one black punchline with the hanging scene.

The ending of REC.

Also, in Pan's Labyrinth, the brutal death of a farmer at the hands of the general (forgot his name), and the general's own death at the end of the movie.
