There are so many classic endings, but these are my favorites:D

1. The Wicker Man (The classic original, not the crap remake.)

2. Gallipolli

3. The Man Who Would Be King

4. Chinatown

5. The Thing

6. Let The Right One In (A classic moment of swimming pool carnage followed by an beautiful ending shot on a train.)

7. Videodrome (Long live the new flesh)

8. Blade Runner

9. Brazil

10. Jacob's Ladder

11. Dr. Strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

12. In Bruges

I will be the first to say that I loved the endings to The Mist, and No Country for old men. 12 Monkeys also had a great ending.

Flash Gordan also had a great ending. The awesome way the robot told Flash "Long live Flash! You've saved your earth, have a nice day!" and how the film froze with Flash jumping in mid air with his triumpthant YEAH!

Nor did I... great ending... My (half-serious) vote goes to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The ending for that came out of nowhere, and made me lol. :P

I agree with The Man Who Would Be King and Dr. Strangelove. None of the others really overwhelmed me or anything. The Downfall really impressed me. Leon The Professional had one of the most satisfying endings I've seen. Arsenic and Old Lace is easily one of my top 5 favorite comedies and the way it comes together is just perfect. Bottle Rocket; the getaway Gattaca; Despite the somewhat cheesy special effects, the ending of this movie always seems to give me a lump in my throat. The Manchurian Candidate(old one); I kind of thought this would end how it did, but it all just seemed to flow so well that I've never forgotten it. There's just many good movies, it's hard to pick one aspect and say one movie is better than another, for me anyways.

Hey! It's my favorite movie ending. I'm not exactly sure why, but the ending just put a huuuuge smile in my face.

I really really really like the ending to Young Guns II. I go back and watch the last 10 mins of that movie all the time.

Requiem for a Dream: This is one of the few endings that had a significant emotional impact on me.

Jurassic Park: I'm a bit bias as I grew up watching this movie but I love the beautiful imagery along with the quiet music. It provided a really satisfying conclusion.
