I haven't seen ANY of the movies I truly want to see (Inglorious Basterds, (500) Days of Summer, Ponyo). The best of what I have seen so far though would have to be Star Trek.

I saw District 9 and I thought it was pretty terrible... :| One massive snowball of cliched characters and absolutely blown potential...

either Star Trek or Drag Me To Hell from what I have seen. However, I expect (500) Days of Summer, Moon, District 9, and possibly Inglorious Basterds to top those two when I eventually get to seeing them.

Sci-Fi: Tie between Star Trek(really great movie, i'm going to BUY, yes buy it on DVD) and District 9

Animated: Green Lantern: First Flight

District 9 and Public enemies are the best movies I have seen this year (though I did enjoy district 9 a lot more).

District 9 with ease.
