Did you just post a bigger list than me:evil: Good list though, some interesting choices too. I quite liked Extact, I think it was more consistant than Idiocracy, and people seem to forget about Sunshine cleaning but I quite liked it too. Last house on the left is one of the few remakes that is better than the original. Glad you liked The Vicious kind, I thought it was one of the biggest surprises of 2009. Adam Scott was fantastic, and so was J.K Simmons. I really wanted to like Duplicity since I loved Michael Clayton, but for some reason it felt overly complex and quirky. Clive Owen, and Julia Roberts were great in it though. Also I am glad you picked Whip it, the story may have been cliche as hell, but I found it to be very delightful. Ellen Page was great in it. The Girlfriend experience is an interesting choice, did you see Soderberg's other film this year The Informant? I have always liked him as a director, his films Che, and Bubble are my favorites of his recently. You should see Yesterday was a lie, it is a strange sci fi film noir that might be on DVD by now. I really wanted to see 35 shots of rum since it was playing at my local arthouse theater, but I cant drive yet so I missed it since my friend wanted to see something else.
Yes I did post a bigger list :P but this list ranges from 10/10 - 6/10, mainly just all the films I enjoyed.I watched Whip It last night, and as you said it did have a lot of cliches, but it was such a fun and entertaining film, the story had its touching moments and the acting was great from Ellen Page. I did not see The Informant, but there was just something I really liked and admired about The Girlfriend experience.
