Best opening track you've heard?

The first track that came to mind is "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" by Arcade Fire from their album Funeral.

Honorable mention: "2+2=5" by Radiohead (Hail to the Thief) and "Zero" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs (It's Blitz!)

Not really a fan of this kind of music, but surprisingly I'm kinda liking it... not really feeling the vocals though.

I always thought this was a powerful opening track.

For me it's a toss up between "Started Out with nothing" by Seasick Steve or "Hit the Lights" by Metallica. Both set the tone for the rest of the album pretty well.

Lately it's been Birds Flying into Buildings by Birds and Buildings. This song accomplishes more in 10 minutes than many entire albums that I've heard do.

Edit: This is also from the first album that the band produced. If only more bands could open with this power.
