Nope, all have the same nation wide coverage, it's now all about tower strength and features, or that's what mobile congress said.

Not all of them have the same speed in the same area, or 4G/LTE in the same areas

Where an individual lives and travels likely influences their choice of a favorite phone service provider, so it depends.

In some areas Sprint has 4G LTE....and 4G in others unless the phone is LTE and expanding. Nonetheless....I haven't had a problem.

I think that's ecause you have not really used anything else but sprint, most people regardless of 4G can't stand sprints high speeds and hidden charges.

I work for Verizon so I guess that makes me pretty biased.

I've had US Cellular before and they aren't bad for their little islands of coverage, but if you go ANYWHERE outside of those zones your coverage is pretty much shot.

I'm lucky that I live in a part of Iowa where there is competition from just about every major carrier, but from what those customers have told me, if they ever leave their ecosystems their coverage disappears.  Verizon invests heavily in their tower structure and it's always moving into new markets.

The prices the competitors charge may seem nice, but they just can't touch Verizon for national coverage.  You get what you pay for.  If you don't need coverage everywhere or you don't travel that much, a local carrier might be a better option, but that's completely up to the consumer to decide.

I use Virgin Mobile. It's rare I'm out of service (I even had 3G when I went camping like 5 miles away from a highway) and I like the price. I rarely talk on the phone so the 300 minute plan is a good deal for me.

Oh and it uses Sprint's network I think.

I've been with T-mobile for 9 years so I can only give my opinion of them...

I think they're pretty good.

I have AT&T. It's nothing special. I have had to call customer service a few times and they were fairly nice. Service is pretty decent, I would say. A lot of my friends have Verizon and it seems they get better coverage (at least around here) but I have family members who work for AT&T so my family mainly does it to "support" them.

I use Straight Talk, the phone I bought was their first smartphone that used the verizon network (Samsung Galaxy Proclaim). I have had them for a year now and I can't complain as I've had no issues so far.

You do realize Virgin, straight talk, Net10 all use the same towers, right? Straight talk and Net10 are the same company - subsidiaries of Tracphone and lease all the major carrier's towers.

I had T-Mobile for years, just switched to AT&T. AT&T is indescribably better.
