Everytime you make a musical thread man it ends up screwed up. I mean, you can't be serious with snoop dogg as best rapper of all time. thats completely RIDICULOUS. the guy's good, or was good, but thats it. I was in fact excepting you to say Lil wayne, omg I would've laughed.

anywayz, it's cleraly a fight between those : The Notorious B.I.G., 2pac, Nas, Jay-z, Rakim, KRS-One, Eminem and maybe some others I dont remember for the moment. But those rappers are not arguable, they all changed the game, all were awesome, all seen as real legends.

Snoop Dogg isn't really so good and his nasaly voice annoys me. For the best, it would obviously be 2Pac Shakur but everyone from NWA deserve an honourable mention. As for recent rappers, Chamillionaire is up there, I like how he's doing something original with his raps (compared to G Unit etc although I still like em)

i can't speak for other places, but i live in NY and rap has always been a big part of urban culture here. There were and still is so much rap from various ppl/groups that its almost impossible to say who is the best. I like some songs that ppl did in the past but the rest of the world probably has never heard of them. Every afternoon, latenights and weekends the radio DJ's play tons of rap ( good and bad, old school and new) Snoop is ok but i think in some places outside of NY they overplay certain artist too much. it's just too much too say who is the best.

His songs have so many deeper meanings.
