Best Sequel Movies.

Usually sequels suck compared to the original. Also, ending to trilogies usually suck more (Shrek 3, X3 and SP3).

However some good sequels.

The Empire Strikes Back

to me, the Bourne trilogy is the only one in recent years that truly gets better as the franchise progress.

Batman Returns and Casino Royale also successfully revitalize their paralysed franchises. but they aren't exactly a sequel so...

Rush Hour 2; the best of the series. The first one was pretty funny, but Jackie was just fighting with Chris throughout the whole movie. The second movie was hilarious since they were good partners.
