There is no such thing, since 'best' depends on totally subjective criteria. But my favourite song (as in a composition that is scored for instrumentally accompanied voice) is "O Tod, wie bitter bist Du?" from Brahms's Four Serious Songs. One of the greatest art songs ever written.
