Eddie Murphy- Party All The Time

They knew they had a hit on their hand. Just watch the guys in the sound booth, you can tell by their enthusiasm that they had gold.

 I love that song. Talking about Eddie Murphy, the song Axel F. is probably the song that reminds me the most of the 80's.

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean is probably the best though.

Holy crap....You're actually asking for the BEST song of the 80's? I don' think that's possible. There were just so many good ones. And I wasn't even alive then to hear them! (My dad has me hooked on good music, from before all this crap was around.) But in my opinion, I'd say the one song that I think of when I hear 80's has got to be either Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, or Thriller, by Michael Jackson.

80s were sum good times :D

and just to add: Billie Jean is MJ's most overated song. Beat it, Man in the Mirror, Dirty Diana, History, Thriller, The Girl is Mine, and so on are just a few examples of sum songs that are leagues aboveBillie Jean :P

Wow 80's was a very good decade of music, as for the best song theres way way to many...

Bill Jean-Micheal Jackson, R.E.M had a lot of great (probably one of the best 80s bands) songs, The Smiths also had a TON of good songs, i mean How soon is now? Was an amazing song, same with Meat is murder and Theres a light that never goes out. ...The B-52's...The Cure....A couple of U2...Metalica....Temple of the Dog...The Pixies.... I can list more and more and more... seriously 80's was one of the decades of music, i mean Alternative rock began in the 80's what more could someone ask for.

I agree with the person that said Pour Some Sugar on Me. Also Number of the Beast is pretty damn good. Also, these haven't been mentioned yet, but how about half the songs off Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet". Song like: You Give Love a Bad Name, Wanted Dead or Alive and Livin' on a Prayer.

Oh, yeah.. Doolittle came out in '89!

Definitely have to say "Monkey Gone to Heaven", "Where Is My Mind?", or "Hey" would be my choice. Those, or "Thriller".
