28 Days Later is a good one. I also like the Lord of the Rings music.

Donnie Darko and crash, but besides that I have none in particular. However, anything by Elliot Goldenthal or Hans Zimmer is pure gold to me.

Aliens. Some of the music was so flat out awesome that it would used in action movie trailers repeatedly for the next 20 years.

But really, the soundtrack to Aliens was EXTREMELY awesome. It was enough to make even boring scenes ****ing great.

And like I said, the victory theme made the actual victories MUCH more awesome. This was based LARGELY on the music, and is why the music has been used for other action movies for the next 20 years.

Lord of the Rings also had a great soundtrack. The LOTR soundtrack accomplished two very difficult things. Firstly, it made a giant eyeball seem scary. That's hard to do. Giant eyeballs are by their very nature NOT scary. If a giant eyeball ever tries to attack you, then you're much better off worrying about the giant BODY that the giant eyeball is attached to. And in the unlikely event that a DISEMBODIED giant eyeball tries to attack you, all you have to do is poke it.

Secondly, the LOTR soundtrack actually made being short, fat, and hairy look good. Are you butt ugly, with hair growing out of your ears? Are you short, fat and stupid? Are you illiterate? Do you like to spend all afternoon drinking beer on the front porch? Do you shovel cow **** for a living? Well, the LOTR soundtrack actually made that kind of lifestyle look appealing. The trilogy starts out with the dumbest most ignorant and repulsive people you can imagine doing hard labor out in the blistering sun, and the soundtrack just said, "yeah, THIS is the life".

really liked Titanic's although I can admit most of the songs are variations of the same basic tune.
