I was in 6th grade and for some reason my Teacher decided to bring PB&J for the class. I took a bite of that sandwich and man, was it great. To this day, I don't know what made it taste so good. Best sandwich ever. What's the best you've ever eaten OT?

Made it myself:

Hamburger buns, cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato, and maionese on both buns. Tastes pretty normal, but very good.

Slice up and fry 2 chicken breasts and 3 rashes of bacon. Then butter some bread and toast the buttered side under a grill. Cut up some lettuce, tomato and red onion. Once the bread is toasted, spread the inside of the lower slice with mayonnaise and place the lettuce, tomato and red onion on it. Then the chicken on top of that, and the bacon on the very top. Finally, cover the top in grated mozarella/monterrey jack, toast until cheese has melted, and then add ketchup and/or french mustard.

Then, eat that motherf***er.

I dont know if its THE best testing one but here's one I recently came up with (not saying it's original, but I havent seen it anywhere either):

Bacon, salami, cheddar, one fried egg sunny side up (with a runny yolk preferrably), lettuce and mayonaise.

Seriously, the double cheese steak from Quiznos. It has over 1,000 calories but good Lord it's amazing.

*note, I'm not counting burgers as sandwiches.

One of my favorite restaurants has a great one called The Cuban Sandwich. You can choose to have it on a spinach tortilla, whole wheat tortilla, Ciabatta roll, or Challa egg bun. Inside is a grilled chicken breast with honey chipotle sauce, fried plantains, goat cheese, mixed greens, tomatoes, and grilled red onions. It's amazing.

Toasted bread, Mayo on both pieces, baked ham thick on one slice, 2 slices of jalapeno cheese on the other side, a sprinkle of black pepper on the ham, thinly spread pretzel dipping mustard on top of the cheese, put two sides together, and microwave until cheese melts.

Spicy sweet Manwhich sloppy joe's, with some tabasco dashed in! I could eat those anytime.

Never made the sauce myself not much of a cook!

but I always love me a good peanut butter and honey sandwich, or peanut butter with apricot jam.

yup! a nice caprese panini always hits the spot. Gotta have some really good extra virgin olive oil to take it up to the next level, though :)
