Empire Strikes Back > New Hope > Return of the Jedi
Return is last due to dancing ewoks
Was a good series, its a shame they never made any prequels/sequels.

Anyone who doesnt say episode one is the worst is ignorant. The plot makes absolutely NO sense, it is literally just all action that happens for no reason.
A New Hope was the best and most influential..it just had the biggest impact. Empire was great too. Then, something happened with Jedi. If it was not for the light saber battle at the end, that movie would have been a bust. The other 3 are not worth remembering, except to remember to avoid at all cost.
[QUOTE="Deihjan"][QUOTE="ZAGAV3"]The Star Wars franchise is so overrated!ZAGAV3Maybe so, but so is Star Trek, and look how many fans it has... Yeah, that one, as well. People should go see LOTR, really...Why would I wait to watch lil ppl walk for 3 hours and see them do that for 3 movies?
Im not a star wars(the oldthree was ok tho)fan or a star trek(I heard the movie was good tho)or LOTR fan at all
Why are people saying episode 3 sucked? Sure, it had a cringe worthy moment or two (George Bush quote ftl) but so did all of the movies. The only two episodes that really sucked were 1 and 2.
Anyway, if I had to put them in order:
5 > 6 = 4 > 3 >>>>> 1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2
The reason I knock episode 2 down so much is because there was nothing redeeming about it. The acting was bad, the dialogue was bad, the plot was "meh", the action scenes were convulted, some scenes just came out of nowhere (such as when Obi Wan gets attacked by Fett), and the forced romantic subplot ensured that the whole thing was crap. Episode 1 wasn't great either, but it at least had that awesome lightsaber fight at the end.
My absolutely mostest perfect and truest list ever (because it's mine) which contains that highest level of integrity and the absolute mostest sense of truth to me personally (again...because it's mine and everything that is contained within it speaks to my highest level of Daemonismistic tendencies and desires) would appear to be thus:
I think the second one is probably the worst. Some of the dialogue in those prequels is just awful. Its a shame to see such talented actors forced to read crap like that. "You won't get away this time Dooku" - gimme a break. biggest_loser
"You're breaking my heart. You're going down a path I can't follow" I litterally cringed at that line.

"NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO" :lol:
I agree with this.. Episode 1 was the most enjoyable one and felt alot more Star Wars like.. Ironically enough this was when Anakin played a pretty minor role.. Even then as a little kid many of his scenes were either stupid or flat out ridiculous (aside from the pod race which was pretty interesting.. But the part where he blows up the huge capital ship by accident.. While flying a ship that he has never flown before, during an attack that flight veterans could not get use to).. Episode 2 made this worse, Anakin is not a likeable character.. Its even worse too because they made it into an akward teen romance..... Finally the 3rd was the worse, simply due to the fact that they said younglings.. Alittle bit died in me when I heard that term muttered several times in a matter of minutes.. Outside that I don't quite understand the hatred towards Jar Jar, he was a comic relief.. He was ment to be a idiot.. Anakin was not suppose to, but being a complete douche bag came relatively natural to him..Best to worst is- A new hope, Empire strikes back, Return of the Jedi (My favourite movie trilogy) followed by Phantom menance, Revenge of the sith and lastly the clone wars

Empire Strikes Back (absoulely amazing. I heard Lucas wasn't too involved in this one)
A New Hope
Revenge of the Sith
Return of the Jedi (ewoks ftl)
Attack of the Clones (The only good part: The clones)
The Phantom Menace (WTF Jar Jar Binks, Midichlorians, pod racers!? :?)
One of the few redeeming things about The Phantom Menace was the outstanding choreography of the saber battle at the end. So far ahead of the fights in the original movies. It was a shame though that one of the more interesting villains in the whole series only had about 3 scenes. Christ. biggest_loserNot to mention we didn't have to deal with Anakin much.. And had two good actors.. The pod race was also pretty cool idea too..

Empire Strikes Back> A New Hope> Revenge of the Sith> Return of the Jedi> and the others can suck one
