What is the best show ever made? It can be from any time, any genre, cartoon or enacted.

I nominate Alfred Hitchcock Presents... (yes, the one in black and white).. I hav seebn some retransmitted programs and every one of them puzzles me. Best show ever. Someone disagrees and presents a STRONG canditate?

currently... Heroes... or How I Met Your Mother...Killer_Silly
I was thinking also about heroes.. But season 2 was almost a complete letdown... And sometimes they use punches when they could kill with nuclear fists... So That was a big letdown

Nuclear fists have a bit of a bad track record since both times i've seen them used it ended with a massive explosion.

No; common misconception. Dexter is a non-animated series about a serial killer. Dexter's Laboratory is a cartoon about a boy genius. Two completely different shows. And I would have to agree with you, dchan. Though Dexter is my favorite TV show of all time, I don't view it as being the best of all time, if that makes sense/doesn't sound contradictory. There are many others shows that are superior in quality and status.

Black Adder was the only one that I could take seriously. It was consistently intelligent and parodied the common twit very effectively, season in, season out.
