For WW2 movies Letters From Iwo Jima takes the cake for best war movie.

Can we include Band of Brothers Series? Because if so then that takes the cake as one of the best WW2 movies.. Patton is another prime canidate, I love that movie. No soldier won a war by dieing for his country, He won it by making the other poor bastard die for his.
Platoon is probably the best Vietnam War film. My favorite war film of all time is Black Hawk down. There are so many good WWII war films its hard to pick a favorite.
