Im going to download red Alert 3 online but im not sure which site is best.

I have gamesplanet.com and direct2drive.co.uk both priced at £19:50.

Which site is best/most trustworthy?

direct2drive is the most reliable one,either that or steam

Steam by far, but sadly they wont have red alert 3 until next month.... so go with Direct2drive.com
