People on this site have absolutely ZERO concept of musical preference, thats for sure. And if you think our suggestions are mistakes, then why dont you post some "correct" bands. :roll:
i'll tell you why, because rock is an extremely broad genre and i couldn't tell which bands would be my favorites.
Thats because you dont listen to any rock. I see you defending rap so much. You cant name a band because you probably dont know any good bands.
Although they can't be found on the radio too often, I really like Tool. AEnima remains one of my fave rock albums of all time. Others would include Blood, Sugar, Sex Magik; ObZen, Chocolate and Cheese, and Reanimation
Nine Inch Nails... still... Nothing is wrong with the new material... People can say what they want about The Slip but TR still said "That was a sketch rather than a painting". It was just to give something back to the community. And it is a good album in its second half more than its first.
There are no good modern rock bands... now it's only confusing subgenres that are good. I like Porcupine Tree (prog), Muse (alternative rock), and Radiohead (alternative rock).
