Best/worst book you've read in school?

So guys, whats the best book you've had to read for school? Any grade you want, or maybe you don't have a favourite, what was the worst thing you've ever read.

For me, I've loved anything that I've read in the past two years, To Kill a Mockingbird, Glass Menagerie and Brave new World. I absolutely hate Shakespeare though.

Worst: Yung Fu of The Upper Yangstee(AKA. THE GAYEST BOOK EVER!!!!!)

Worst: Great Expectations 

Best: To Kill A Mocking Bird

 Worst: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

good=night, hatchet, and of mice & men

bad=scarlet letter, great expectations,  and romeo & juliet 

best- the outsiders

worst- every single other book ive ever read

Worst--Agatha Christie's Nemesis (this book was more like torture to read than just yawn-inducing)

Tell me, is there any other reason people dislike Shakespeare?

Shakespeare is brilliant, it's his vocabulary that is an issue. Most people just don't use many of his words anymore.lemonfreshpanda

i wished we would read lord of the flies or 1984 in school. those are two of my favorite books, but we tend to read more boring stuff in my school.

i hate reading books in or at school, i only like Archie comics.

i will also buy a book called Totally Frank by Frank Lampard.:):)

Worst ~ Moby Dick by Herman Melville

Best ~ The Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami  

Best - 1984 by George Orwell, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and Sandokan by Emilio Salgari (not necessarily a very good one, but it was the one book that got me into reading when I was a boy.)

I don't understand why many people don't like Shakespear. At least when we were reading his in school, everyone hated him except for 5 or 6 people. In my opinion, though, his writings are fantastic.
