i have an interview tommorow at a department store and if i get the job i will be making minimum wage. From what i hear i will get about 200 dollars every 2 weeks or so.

When I was 18 I got AU$1200+ a week. I worked nights, 6 days a week and 8 to 12 hour days.

Where are you guys working? Jeeze, you must have like no hours. The most I have made (granted I was being paid $12.50) was $994. And like a bunch of douches the company decided to start taxing me on that cheque, even though I was 17 and I get all the tax back anyways... Thinking about it now, I should have been smarter with my money. I don't really have anything to show for it. taylor888

Uh I believe it was $300 or so in one week minimum wage, over the summer, 17 years of age.

I get paid weekly. The most I've ever gotten was $185. That's including taxes and $7.50 union dues taken out.

Depends how much you make for minimum wage. At around ~$9.50 an hour you can easily make around $250 every 2 weeks part-time. Don't know how much is the most I've ever made, but you have to take into account taxes, 'committee dues' if your company has that (ours is $5 every paycheque that goes towards paying for luncheons, christmas parties, etc) and medical if you get that. $200 is very reasonable to expect though.XilePrincess

No... I actually did work, but there was some admin bs that stopped my payment for almost a month. My "payment got stalled" but I still received a paycheck.
