No, it's called reading between the lines
He said, "Did we just get lucky? Did some meteor do this?" when talking about the reason we have life.
And in the beginning of the video he said, "How come Mars doesn't have moon?" and then he said "Why don't other planets have life?"
This is clearly implying that having a moon has something to do with having life, which would imply that on a planet with life has a moon, which is why he thought that Mars doesn't have a moon.
He's implying god gave us life in the first sentance.
In your second sentance he is also implying that god put the moon there to control our tides.
The only thing is he implying is that god did all this not that moon has something to do with life.
