What's your opinion of the band Billy Talent? and more importantly how many of you have heard of them? I'm sure you can find them on youtube if you haven't. (For some reason firefox doesn't feel like letting me copy and paste)

You must be from the states...

Billy Talent have been huge in Canada since 2003, and pretty damn big over sees, particularly in Germany.

Just wait, next you'll start hearing about a band called Alexisonfire...

The only Post-hardcore band I like.

Yes, I have heardof Billy Talent, and I think they're pretty good (Devil in a Midnight Mass is my favorite of their songs). Oh and as the other poster said I've heard of Alexisonfire, too. Funny enough, the first time I heard both these bands was on a video game soundtrack. I heard Billy Talent on Burnout 3 and Alexisonfire on MLB 07: The Show.

So withthepopular canadian bands seeming to become heavier, would 3 Inches of Blood become popular next? I would love to see them at number 1 on the much music countdown. Kataklysm would also be sweet.

Yeah I like a couple of their songs. Back in my junior year of high school, I'd listen to their songs in my friend's car from time to time on our way to off-campus lunch. Good times. A lot of their songs have a good amount of energy.

Protest is really good live. I've actually seen the vast majority of the bands mentioned in this topic live, including BT, they all put on amazing shows.

I love the Canadian music scene at the moment.

Billy Talent is AWESOME. They are going nowhere but up in Canada and Europe...I love all their stuff, especially their live shows, they are very talented performers and always keep the energy really high which I like.
