I have to write an essay on a notable African-American who has made a positive difference or significant contribution to today's society. Who do you suggest I write it on?Slash-Omni
Frederick Douglass. I am actually appalled about he is almost never mentioned during Black History month in todays media (the coke commercial is the first that comes to mind, but of course, coke wasnt around then). food4meI mentioned him on the first page. :wink:

lenard washingtonTeh_LawIf you mean Dave Chappelle's character, you can argue that Chappelle tried to ridicule black stereotypes, but in the end, he just ended up reinforcing them because the majority of his viewers didn't get what he was trying to convey.
