Pick one. I choose Blink, because "Neighborhoods" rips the throat out of anything Sum 41 has done. YOU?

Go to hell and burn there now.sadly he is right both are very generic bands. Is there such a thing as generic music? I would say..less unique than most because they're both very similar. (2000th post btw!)[QUOTE="ConkerAndBerri2"]

sadly he is right both are very generic bands. Is there such a thing as generic music? I would say..less unique than most because they're both very similar.yes both are predictable bands with songs that are pretty much the same but i played along and think sum41 is better(though if i had a choice i wouldnt listen to them at all) and why ever travis is still with blink 182 is beyond me[QUOTE="almasdeathchild"]

Their older songs tend to be more childish, whereas a few of the songs on Neighborhoods are actually pretty good lyrics wise, in terms of relatability.[QUOTE="ConkerAndBerri2"]

Sum 41 are perfectly able to rock. Blink 182 are right up there with the Coldplays and U2s of this world when it comes to being physically and psychologically unable to rock.
Was a fan of both back in high school, but I'd go with Sum 41. Don't really listen to blink 182 anymore, and rarely Sum 41.
Old Sum 41. I used to listen to them in Grade 6. Blink-182, I tried getting into them, but they just didn't do anything for me. I love Adam's Song though.
Pop Rock indeed is awful. But neither band is Pop Rock.None. American pop rock is awefull. They only cater american angst teens

Is thomas the tank engine bad because it doesn't appeal to your age group either? should american angst teens not have any music they like? They aren't talented in actual skill or unique songwriting but they know their audience.
Y'all are such haters...
blink got famous because TDGAF, not because they were talented or innovative.
blink for the thread.
i'll go with sum 41,
anyone know any of songs by them similar to We're all to blame- i like that song alot
