It's an unfortunate situation. It's sad that someone would be unthoughtful and make those comments, but people do stupid things at times. Often times people dont fully understand what they are saying or what meaning their words really have. It's a shame because I think she's effectively destroyed her life.

I found this both offensive and hilarious at the same time, because she did a pretty spot-on impression on how my Korean girlfriend answers the phone.

Yea i'm not sure, but people talking in the library is annoying.

But i didn't pay much attention to what she was saying.

When I was at uni people were always talking on the phone in the damn library, and it really p***** me off, so on one level I can understand her rant.

Totally absolutely the wrong way to go about it though, but since she apologised, I think it's harsh as f*** she got expelled from school.

She kind of has a point, and honestly doesn't seem "stupid". She talks like a valley girl, so that gives the impression that she is dumb. But her points were fair, even if they were the opposite of politically correct.

I'm asian and honestly some of the stuff she said is true, the problem is, she said it out loud.

Just wanted to clarify-- UCLA did not expell her, according to this article I read, but instead she chose to leave because she and her family were getting death threats and the like from all over.
