I am curious to know what the avid music listeners of OT feel when it comes to these two bands that rivaled in the 90's. I am a brit rock/pop nut so I like both bands, but I choose Blur over Oasis.

UP THE IRONS!

If you want generic and derivative rock music then Oasis, if you want more diverse and interesting music with a lead singer who constantly experiments with different styles and bands then go for Blur. Personally I think Blur is the best, though Pulp is better than both.

Overall I like Oasis better, although I LOVE Graham Coxon's solo work.

Oasis, because at least it wasn't Damon Albarn's band.

I wouldn't really call myself a fan of Brit Pop, but I guess that I prefer Oasis. I haven't heard much from Blur.

Blur. Oasis' music isn't too bad but I'd personally love the chance to push Noel Gallagher down a flight of stairs.

Am I the only one who prefers Britpop to Grunge? As a music movement I much prefer the sound.

Oasis, but since you mentioned Blur, I'm gonna dive deeper into their music and give it a shot.

Oasis, i just prefer their style of music, and their new album is very good (although not their best)
