I personally don't see the point in blu-ray. I really can't see it making any difference to my enjoyment of films, even if I notice the improved picture quality which I find rather doubtful. On topic, IMO you should just buy great films for cheaper on standard DVD.
well the quality in picture of standard DVDs and HD or BD is quite significant so you would notice is, especially if you're watching on a 52", but this wasn't my question anyway; thanks, though...i think.I personally don't see the point in blu-ray. You have a 52" TV? Mine still has cathode ray tubes in it. I suppose how much value blu-ray is depends on the type of film you watch.I mean, I'd rather watch Seven Samurai on video than Transformers on blu-ray, but that might just be me.
