Although its proably better for education, i feel ive got alot of 'real world' experience from my education at public school and college, Id want to give my kids a great education but not be so far stuck up his own backside that he cant be down to earth. Would you send your kids to boarding school? or have you been? opinion in general? explain yourselves! :)

yes, it is a fairly god idea. just make sure it is not a very reliious school, or your kids may turn out like some religious nutjobs I know

Or you could beat him with a belt while yelling "This is what life feels like." That also builds character.

It does build character but your children will hate you forever. Thats a big price to pay.

Don't kids in boarding school only get to see their family and more importantly parents during holidays/weekends/special visits? If that still is the case then i say public school is way better since parents actually get to see their kids and help them with their schooling. I mean i couldn't imagine when i was still in school waking up and NOT seeing my mum as she'd hand me a bacon sandwiche on the way out the front door.

Public school is the way to go. I would be completely oblivious to the world if I didn't go through the public system.
