Sharu Khan's Devdas and Del se are my favourites. I don't like the new movies they're crappy compared to the older ones!

There are some really amazing bollywood films. However, since they literally pump out like 1,000 a year, its hard to tell what's good and what's bad. Unfortunately, there is also the issue that just about every bollywood movie has the same concept, and FORCES the movie to be 3 hours long.

Personally, I enjoy Pakistani Dramas which tend to be a lot more realistic and down to earth. Their recent push towards bringing drama directors to the big screen has also been quite remarkable, with the privatisation of Pakistani media, through means of companies like GEOtv and ARY. The first of these movies being Khuda kai Lihey (In the name of God), which was filmed in the US, UK and Pakistan and released internationally. Wonderful film.

I'm really open to all kinds of cinema, and I enjoy it very much as an art form as many of you will know, but having said that Bollywood films were something I could never get into.

this is the basic highlight of a bollywood movie

husband says something to wife

wife disagrees and starts crying, expressing her feelings

then they both start dancing WTF?!?!

They are awful, don't know how anyone can stand them. Mediocrity has now become a standard for some.

I don;t like Hindi movies or music, more of a Punjab film/music man myself. I did like : Kuchkuch Hota Hai, and Bhagban.

IMO Sunny Deol>>> Bollywood actors

I watch alot of foreign movies and Bollywood does have some awseome movies. Good thing I can understand the language otherwise I would probably find them boring since every Bollywood movie is like 3-4 hours long.

Recently I have watched Taare Zameen Par (Stars on Earth) which is a movie about kids with dyslexia. This is Aamir Khans Directorial debut and he also stars in the movie. I have to say that the movie is simply beautiful, it's really down to Earth and has a wonderful message.

Aamir Khan is by far the best actor in Bollywood, the guy literally becomes the charactor he is playing and he is so versitile, always picking new and unique roles instead of the usual masala movies made in Bollywood. I am anxiously looking forward to his next movie Gajini which is supposed to be inspiried by the movie Memento. Aamir Khan will be going bold for the role !

Anyway I also like Shah Rukh and Salman.
