Yes even though i am a gamer i still have to read sometimes.... i need a book for school! I don't know what to read. It has to be fiction, not real if you didn't know, and i like war books so it has to be one of thoes! Thanks for the suggestions!

This spud speaks the truth. Fiction is where the story is fantasy / made up.

"The Places In Between"

It's about this guy who walked across Afghanistan in 2002. I'm about 100 pages in and it's pretty good.

I liked the Knight of Maison-Rouge...

It's about the french revolution and it's written by Alexandre Dumas.

I enjoyed Guests of the Shiek by Elizabeth Fernea, it's also pretty cheap if you can't find it at your library.

Well, if you are into fantasy books with a bit of action in them, then might I recommend the Dragonlance Chronicles saga. There are 3 of them, but anyone of them is a pretty good read.

Okay now must it be fiction or historical fiction (historical fiction is something that could happen but didn't). If you need to read a fictional book read Heroes Saving Charlie. I'm reading it now and I really like it but I guess that you would only enjoy that if you watch Heroes. If the book can be historical fiction I highly recommend reading The Catcher and the Rye or The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Those are both two of my favorite books.

*smacks head on table* Non of these are about war. It doesn't matter is it is historical or not. I bought Flags of our Fathers becuase i read that is suppose to be an awesome book. Well i read 2 chapters and it is the only problem is that it is not written like a story. It is more written to tell you about it and i can't read that type of book. I own Fly Boys but i never read it and it is really long and don't know if i would like it.

The Hunger Games. Its fiction...its based in the future and its about how America split into 13 districts plus the Capitol. After one district revolted against the Capitol and failed to bring it down, the Capitol started the annual Hunger Games to remind the remaining 12 districts about the first revolt and how powerful the Capitol is. Peeta and Katniss, both from District 12, are entered into the games in which the 24 participants must fight to the death with only one survivor winning any supplies needed for themselves and their districts for years to come. it basically tells the story of Peeta and Katniss trying to survive through the games.
