Five go in. Only one comes out! Which meal has what it takes to be the definitive meal to start the day!
I'm going to go with waffles, provided they are Belgian waffles made from scratch. I love everything else, but waffles are the best!

Waffles. I hope no one dies in this breakfast war.
Chorizo and potatoes pwns all.
Or: Three eggs over easy, about half a pound of bacon (okay, let's round up to a full pound) or package of maple sausage links, hashy browns (maybe a sprinkle of cheese), and English muffins (because the English know their muffins). Washed down with two glasses of orange juice.
Pancakes and waffles are not bad, dont' get me wrong. But they are starchy and fill you up too quick.
I intend to make a fritata (sp?) this weekend. It is my goal in life.
sausage gravy & biscuits >> all of those...but i'll take waffles if only given those choicesjohnnyv2003
Damn! I should have included that instead of cereal. I just couldn't think of a fifth option.
Anyway, my favorite breakfast is UNDOUBTEDLY 2 or 3 fried eggs, half a pound of bacon (at least :P) and 2 or 3 pieces of buttered toast.Jandurin
Oh goodness, that's heaven right there. *Drools* Throw in some pancakes or waffles though. :P
My vote will have to go for the omlette. Not only is it delicious, but it is the most nutritious way to start your day as well (assuming there are some veggies in this omlette as well). Eggywegs are also good for the body.
The rest are just carbs carbs carbs.

I know, I know. Why do you continue to deny yourself of sweet buttery goodness?
See, the butteryness is always too much, and the cake gets soggy too fast :(I know, I know. Why do you continue to deny yourself of sweet buttery goodness?

Theres a diner in my hometown that has a "Country Breakfast"
Its a really messy looking omlette that has ham sausage peppers onions and cheese in it, and you get 2 pancakes with it. Its the BEST combo for breakfast.
BUT.... if I had to eliminate one, it would have to be the pancakes, Eggs, meat and cheese are what you need in the morning, whether you just got up, or just worked a graveyard shift.
