I choose Breaking Bad.

[QUOTE="Pirate700"]I love SOA also. Last season was crazy good. Can't get enough of it. I just hope it keeps its awesomeness in the next season.Agreed. I think it will.[QUOTE="meconate"]No Sons of Anarchy listed? Out of those, I've only watched The Walking Dead. Although I really wouldn't mind seeing the other two at some point.meconate
God no. The show is closing at the right time. The next eight episodes have the potential to be the best run of the series.All three are amazing but Breaking Bad is just on a whole different level. I really wish they'd do a 6th season.

Pirate is exactly what is wrong with America.What would that be? Greed, excess, knowing when to quit, thinking things through, etc[QUOTE="Agent-Zero"][QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"] God no. The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Better than all these shows, even if they were mixed together and directed by Stanley Kubrick.
[QUOTE="Pirate700"]What would that be? Greed, excess, knowing when to quit, thinking things through, etcThe show is already going past when it was supposed to. And I don't care if it's greedy. Do the same thing as the current season is doing. Just have a new central issue that comes up that they have to contend with. Since there isn't really an end goal anymore, they can keep the show going for as long as the fans want it.[QUOTE="Agent-Zero"] Greed, excess, knowing when to quit, thinking things through, etcmrmusicman247
that's the thing. there was ALWAYS an end goal now there isn't. it won't work with BBmrmusicman247Now that Walt wants the business to be an empire, they can just keep it going. Stopping a show after only 5 season, in its peak, goes against all common business sense. When you have one of the most popular TV shows there is you don't just stop the show.
you do when you want to make a show that ends on a good note rather than keeping it running until it eventually fizzles out. monetary wise, sure it's not smart. but as an avid fan of the show, i would rather see it go out on a high note.mrmusicman247Who says another season would fizzle the show out though? It's not like it's beeon on for 10 years. I have fait that they could do another 2-3 amazing seasons.

No offense, but that's a damn stupid idea for a show as hyper-serialized as Breaking Bad.[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]The show is already going past when it was supposed to. The problem with many shows is that they go on for far longer than they should, with a notable dip in quality coming hand in hand. Breaking Bad will be one of the few that didn't happen to overstay its welcome.
with the set up they have right now, it'd be impossible to do 2-3 seasons. everything is setting up for an ending.
the way i think about it is, it's all up to the director. i believe from the beginning the director knew that he didn't want BB to last too long. if the producer or whoever REALLY wanted the show to last a couple more seasons, they would have just hired a new director.
in which case, those extra seasons would have a greater chance of not being as sucessful
@pirate700
There are a couple of exceptions, but for the most part this is true. I'm glad Gilligan is taking the logical progression with the show and not dragging it out.Every drama series that goes over 6 seasons ALWAYS ends up going downhill

Breaking Bad > Game of Thrones >>> The Walking Dead. I haven't even seen GoT yet, but reading TWD comics made me realize how crappy the show is.

I think you missed the entire story arc of the series...
