And why is that?Â
They sound too generic. Another reason would be that my friend keep balring those songs.....In fact, they're one of my most hated bands.

I disagree.
The singing is reminiscent of 90s hard rock, the guitar riffs are uncreative and plain, and the lyrics don't seem to do anything for me.

Apparently you havn't listend to their newest CD, Phobia. Listen to the lyrics and the guitar, their sound changed a little and they have started to become more intrecate with their music. And the reason they sound like 90's rock is the lead singer, Benjamin Burnley, learned his first guitar chords and riffs from Nirvana, and some of their stuff kind of sounds and relates back to Nirvana's sound of music. Sorry, but I'm not going to buy a CD from a band I don't like. They had their chance to win me over, and they blew it.
Besides, if this album has Diary of Jane on it, my friend blared that CD, and I was close to choking him to death. >_>

Yes, it does have Diary of Jane on it, but I don't like that song either. It's alright when you just get the CD and you're likeing the music, then they play it on the radio 600 times a day. So many songs have been killed that way...:(Â
They are not quite my favorite band, but I do enjoy their music. I have all 3 of their CDs. Natural Life is prolly my favorite song by them!ice_radon
Natural life is a great song. My favorites are Evil Angel and Next to Nothing. :)Â

you will get alot of mixed feelings about them. I for one am really into their music i have all their albums never went to a concert though but i think they are pretty good def one of my favorite bands. I like mostly like the songs from their previous two albums the most although the 3rd album phobia was pretty good too. I especially like so cold, shallow bay, polyamorous, water, breath, sooner or later and of course the legendary Blow Me Away which i keep in my sig :) mercenar3
Ahaha! Yes!! Some great songs, and your sig rules!Â

No I don't....what forms?  I mostly listen to alt...which has lots of subgenres...Most bands I can find a song or two that I do like....in the case of Breaking Benjamin...I like So Cold...but the band is exactly what I said it was. I didn't put them down...just stated how I feel about them. They are from PA though...so they get points for that.
