I'm a huge packer fan. I'm also a huge favre fan. I hope Favre single fricken destroys the packers when they play them. 500 passing yards. Just to shove it in the GMs and coaches face. Then I hope the packers go on to win the super bowl after recovering from that loss.Vuurk
You really can't blame the Packers for not bringing him back...there was a new coaching group, new programs...and Favre does not want to keep going through camp and all the other stuff 2 parties, 2 good points 1. team: we need you here with team, be part of team, learn new stuff 2. Favre: i am freaking Brett Favre...I don't need camp Also, they had Aaron Rogers...he was good last year, yalls D was just terrible The split was best for both parties

I agree completely. Favre thinks he is bigger than any team he is with, especially hte Packers. Though he did give them good years, they drafted Rogers in order to take over because Favre said he was gonna retire. Then he kept Rogers waiting by coming back. Then he didn;t want to go to camp. It was the best for the Pack to get go of him. He had a bad season in his last with them (if I rememebr correctly) and he had a pretty bad season last year with the Jets. The only thing that will save him this year is having a back hamed Adrian Peterson in the backfield. Even then I think he will have a sub-par season.

Not to pick at you, but Favre went 13-3 in his last year with the Pack...he was VERY good except for the playoff game (but he was bad the couple years before that) The jets were in 1st place before he hurt his arm...then hurt arm...then no playoffs But I agree, I do not think the Vikes will win the super bowl This move seems more like it is about Favre's desire to beat the Packers and rub their faces in it...more so than any desire to play just to play

That's why I put in the "if i remember correctly" part. I knew he had some bad seasons with the Pack, I just couldn't remember if it was the last season or the few seasons before that. As for the Jets situation, I honestly think that the first part of the season was overrated for them. They were lucky to beat the Dolphins in the first game (that pass could just as easily been picked off rather than a td, but the D was too young and inexperienced). I was just never sold on them. I honestly think that at this point, Favre will cost the team more than he will help them. Well, maybe with the Vikings he will be good, but that's only because they don't have a QB at all lol.

Ya, I don't really think he is an upgrade over Sage Rosen. -he did very well with Houston last year when Schaub was out The only thing Favre has over him is experience and maybe inspire confidence All I can say is that Percy Harvin better be awesome, or teams will just continue to stack the line to kill A. Peterson If Harvin is good, they have a chance to go deep

I'm considering going to see my first Lions game when the Vikings show up. Always have been a fan of Favre even though I didn't like how the whole Green Bay situation was handled.
