I saw that a few months ago, and it still creeps the hell out of me. She ought to be locked up for child molestation, since that's basically what it is.
What a loving, considerate and attentive mother. I sure hope her love extends to forking over some major bucks for the kids' therapy later on. I can't wait to read that tell-all they're bound to write, too.
Well, it is awkward... very awkward, breastfeeding should stop when the mom can't hold the child anymore because thats just ridiculous, at least the milk is fresh though.
Plenty of amusing quotes like, "I'd rather have lots of breast milk than a million melons." Other that that, whatever. Unusual I guess, but actually makes more sense than the artificial formula for babies that people accept as perfectly normal.
Reminds me of a mate of mine who was dating a French girl who was a little... Out there... First time he visited her Mum she made him these muffins, and he'd had 2 when she let slip the milk in them... Was hers... I actually feel sick just remembering that story. Damn this thread.

I don't get what's wrong - some people can't afford milk and breastfeeding is still very healthy - though I guess 8 years is a bit overboard, it's not "wrong" in any way. Our ancestors used to breastfeed until the age of 7-9. I'd say breastfeeding until 3-4 is pretty healthy.

Showering in cold water is actually pretty healthy, it improves blood circulation. Though I think the most efficient way to shower is start off with hot water, which will open your pores, soap to clean those pores, then cold water to close those pores to prevent dirt from getting in and increase blood circulation.
