I've finally received my Copy of Brisingr, one of the most anticipated fantasy books to come out this year. Borders and other book stores had a midnight release date.

I knew it came out sometime this month but I didnt know when xP

Maybe Ill pick it up tomorrow, but Im re-reading the Twilight series yet again so Ill likely wait till my mother gets it for me for Christmas  How is it so far? When I first read Eragon, I started to hate it because I thought it was too similiar to Lord of The Rings so I stopped reading it but then I got bored one day and just started reading it and it turned out to be pretty damn good.

Maybe I'll pick it up tomorrow. This book doesn't seem to get nearly the same hype as the last one did.

Honestly, given his track record, it would be easier to watch Star Wars.

Although I do enjoy reading the books a lot I refuse to buy them on the principle that they are just retellings of Star War simply put in an lotr universe and with dragons/dragon riders instead of the force. Also, the second book has a little bit of anti-thiest propaganda hidden in it. Usually I wouldn't mind that, I respect authors who try and put messages and deeper meanings in their work, but I don't think it is appropriate to slip propaganda in a book impressionable 10-12 year olds will read.

But I do hope to borrow the book from someone to read.

Jacob managed to piss me off more than any other entertainment character  I love him but god damn, he needs to leave Edward alone cause Edward would completely destroy that damn wolf!

Im really hope Meyer still releases Midnight Sun. Yeah, I know whats going to happen but its in Edwards perspective and I love Edward xP I think he's my favorite character in any book x)

Psh, maybe if Jacob had Leah, Seth, Sam, Paul, Quil, Embry, and Jared with him x) If Edward was furious enough though, I bet he could take them all on x) C'mon, he destroyed James and Victoria! And he was ready to take on all of the Volturi just to save Bella and Renesmee!

Jacob is vastly superior if only because he actually has flaws, thus he's relatable, I like being able to relate to the characters in my books in some way.

Only thing I remember about Eldest was how the guy with the M-starting name turned on whoever Eragons owner is.

I should definately re-read the series before I go read Brisingr, I barely remember any of the stuff.

 His only flaw is his tempor. He's a loving character, and he's there for Bella whenever she needs him (Which is quite a bit in New Moon) but overall he's just a jackass quite a bit towards Edward. Yeah, theyre enemies but he could atleast be civilized towards the Cullen family, and not act like the dog he is.

Edwards just so... perfect. Beautiful, charming, seductive, smart, strong, fast. He's amazing xP

Exactly, he's perfect, Jacob is not, he suffers, he moves on, Edward goes and tries to get himself killed when he's suffering, Jacob just exiles himself.

Edward thought Bella had killed herself, and he told her that he would never live without her. Jacob can run as long as he wants, he's never going to forget Bella. Atleast in death, if they both had died, then Edward would finally be able to see Bella again xP

Edward believes he has no soul, if he's right, they wouldn't get to see each other again. You really need to pay attention to your favorite character here.

Edward may believe that, but Bella had made the Human in him re-surface. If his Humanity would come back just for a human, than he still has a soul. Carlisle believes they still have a purpose, and he's been around since the, I think, 1400's so he'd be more knowledgeable.

I do pay attention...

Are the Twilight books really good? I was always under the impression that they were for girls, but I've seen a lot of guys talking about them so I have been thinking of reading them.

They aren't bad, but they are no where near as good as the throngs of teenage girls...and Matt...would have you believe.

Edward may believe that, but Bella had made the Human in him re-surface. If his Humanity would come back just for a human, than he still has a soul. Carlisle believes they still have a purpose, and he's been around since the, I think, 1400's so he'd be more knowledgeable.

I do pay attention...

Bloodaxe726

Humanity =/= soul, they may be around for a reason, but they are dead, thus no soul.

Ive got no damn responce

I still think Edward is better than Jake >_> lmao.

Victory is mine!

Also, I just realize we hijack a lot of threads and take them completely offtopic XD

This time... *Plotting Evil Revenge Scheme*

And yeah, dont we xP

Are the Twilight books really good? I was always under the impression that they were for girls, but I've seen a lot of guys talking about them so I have been thinking of reading them.

They aren't bad, but they are no where near as good as the throngs of teenage girls...and Matt...would have you believe.

Ah, ok. But would I still be able to retain my dignity if I'm caught reading them? :P

I just don't think anyone's willing to make fun of me for anything, I'm rather intimidating in appearance.

I'm gentle as a kitten, people are just afraid of me because I don't talk to anyone and I look mean.

Oh, I didn't even know it came out already, I'll check the book out later, first I must buy albums. By the way, Arya is a ****. Sapphira outa slap that Elvish whore all the way back to Du Weldenvarden with her tail since Eragon is to much of a little girl to do such a simple task of grabbing her boobs and licking her face.

I'm 6' I'm constantly tripping over people your size, I have to stare at the ground to make sure I don't trip on someone. Makes people think I'm depressed, I've been asked by random people what was wrong because I was watching for short people.
