I already listen to The Who, Beatles and Queen any other great bands I should know about.

you seem to not be concerned with genres. so which case i will reccomend the British bands i listen to.

Alien Sex Fiend, Mesh, Fields of the Nephilim, Gary Numan, Aslan Faction, Midnight configuration, Depeche mode, and Modulate.

More kind of mainstream bands like Muse, The Kooks, Arctics Monkeys,
Then the not so mainstream bands like The Dykeenies, Good Shoes and The Last Shadow Puppets.
Just some suggestions, defiently give Good Shoes a listen.
