yes, two days after the declassifying of a US intelligence report that said "iran stopped persuing nuclear weapons in 2003" bush is urging iran to admit that they're persuing nuclear weapons.

am i the only one who thinks this is totally stupid?

"ok, we can't find any evidence that you're still persuing nuclear weapons" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7125701.stm

"but go on, just admit it, or we're gonna put sanctions on you anyway" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7129307.stm

way to go bush!

He used this same argument for Iraq's WMD's...that Iraq was just "hiding" them from us. Bush never learns. Freaking idiot.

I've been reading about this a lot lately. It's so funny that Bush wants to attack Iran so bad that even after the report about Iran and the nukes, he still continues to say they are dangerous, we need to stop them, blah blah blah!!! I guess he's one of those people that have selective hearing, they only hear what they wanna hear. Hey Bush! You do know not only the world, but the US is against you now right?

Would Bush kindly STFU.

Iran doesn't have to answer to that idiot. If other sources, better sources are saying it's all OK then fine.

I think Bush should concentrate on trying to actually win a war he's started because the last time I checked, very recently, Taliban are closing in on Kabul capital of Afghanistan and the US is taking a beating in Iraq. But oh well, go on ahead and start more wars, 3 at one time seems reasonable. :|

First off, i think Bush is an idiot too, so dont come back and call me a bush-lover.

Anyways, About Iraq, Almost every intelligence agency thought that they had them. European ones, America, etc. Even Iraq thought they had them. You act like Bush can say whatever the hell he wants, and we will just accept that and go to war. On the contrary, to go to war, you must have tons of people behind you back, like congress, for example. And ya we didnt find any WMD's but dont blame it all on bush. There are tons of people to blame for that, including democrats.

If you actually do your research too, you will find that they did have bio weapons, and did kill thousands of people. We went in there because we thought they got them back. Please research before you post your anti-bush crap on forums.

Like i said before, i think Bush is an idiot for how he handled Iraq, but i am not so dumb as you, to think he just "lied" to every one, and we just went la-de-da over to Iraq.

Bush isnt trying to invade Venezuela. What the hell are you talking about? Just because he says he is dissapointed in Chavez, doesnt mean he is even thinking about invading. It seems to me, as if all bush haters try and come up with anything to make bush look stupid, whether its true or not. And that says a lot about you guys.

bush was 'disappointed' in Chaves because he wanted to remove presidential term limits, which he said would result in a one-man-rule (dictatorship)

dictatorships like france, for example, who do not have a term limit for their presidents either...

This have really gone too far. Bush have jumped the gun by beating the war drums to Iran before making sure Iran even have nuclear weapons. Now hes still picking on Iran. Why cant this guy just drop it?

Im convinced Bush have large investments in Halliburton and other defense contractors. Imagine if why doesnt he end the war with Iraq now? Maybe because him and his buddies would no longer get paid millions of dollars?

So Bush is trying to start wars with nations that don't have WMD's or nukes but when North Korea had it right there, he didn't want to do anything else but 'talk?'

There are some evidences that there were contacts between people here and the USA when the hole April 2002 thing happened here. Bush is nothing but a hypocrit, last week he was yabbing about how awful Venezuela's democratic system for the elections was and how it was all under Chavez's control to make him win, yeta couple of days ago after Chavez lost he was talking about how proud he was of Venezuelan people because they voted right or something :|

There you guys go again, using Bush as a scapegoat. If i am not mistaken Bush wasnt the only one 'jumping the gun" on Iran. So were the UN and other various countries. And they were developing them, they just paused for now. And you act like they never had them (sounds like the Iraq War)

And actaully for once, he is being intelligent. Since Iran stopped, now is a good time to watch them carefully, not invade, but keep a very close eye on them. We know they are crazy and hate Isreal and all other western countries, so wouldnt it be stupid to forget about them until its to late again? Seriously you guys, use your brains

I agree about Afghanistan the Taliban are mounting a comeback this is true but how are we taking a beating in Iraq(I don't support us staying any longer) Iraqi casualties have been as high as 700,000 plus, this includes civilians, insurgents and terrorist vs less then 4000 American casualties not including serious injuries. I would say it's safe to say they are getting there asses handed to them. Iraqis that is. It was the same for Vietnam 67,000 plus casualties American forces vs 2million plus casualties but it's considered a loss? Doesn't make much sense to me. Btw I worked with a Navy SEAL who served 4 tours in Vietnam and as he tells it, it wasn't pretty for the Viet Cong.

I hate him bacause he talks way too much crap about "socialism" and the world coming togueter an s*** like that, nowthe only think that i like about him is that he's actually using the country's income to make things (ie: Free clinicsfor poor people, "missions" (thats how they're called) to tech people who never got the chance of going to school, changin s*** (thats how they look like) houses for decent ones)

If people follow this closely, the intent to invade Iran has been there for many years, and is mostly b/c Israel and her friends in the USA see that Iran is in fact a threat to Israel. Maybe not a direct threat, but Iran is a huge country with a large population and it sits close to Israel, so of course Israel views it darkly. You have one little country whose whole existence now is tied to its alliance with a superpower in the USA, that Europeans have begun to question Israel and her motives, that Russia is siding with Iran, and mow maybe China too. In this context, a little country in Israel which exists only b/c of its weapons from the USA and its nukes, if someone like Iran gets a nuke, that advantage is negated, and then it becomes conventional: millions and millions of Arabs with hatchets and pistols versus a few million Israeli diehards with aging fighter planes and tanks. Which side would you bet on? That's right, hence the tensions.

So the intent to invade Iran has always been there b/c of its threat to Israel, and not to mention there are probably oil considerations too. America's alliance with Israel may be something that ultimately injures Americans in a big big way. Or maybe not. But stay tuned.
