It's not a bad series. The one major bright spot in the whole thing is Tokiko. You don't usually see strong and ruthless female characters in your typical shounen series, but Tokiko breaks that mold. Unfortunately the rest of the guys around her pretty much cookie-cutter versions of the usual shounen male fighters.
The anime was horrendous in my opinion, its a totally cliche ending with nothing to offer accept on awesomeness that is Tokkiko but other then that bleh,

I wouldn't go so far as to say it was awful. I think if it went longer than its brief run it would've stretched a very thin premise past the point of breaking. And yes, Tokiko was and is all sorts of awesome.

Maybe it was just cuz I was so sick of papillon :lol:That's the thing about fighting shounen series. When they're not very original and most of the characters are quite boring then it gets old real quick. That's why I've preferred harem and slice-of-life series. At least if and when the series gets repetitive there's still all the moe to enjoy. :)
Same, Ive started watching Lovely Complex freaking hilarious and lots going on. I also finished watching skip beat! recently and it was so entertaining I was sad to see it was over. That's the thing about fighting shounen series.
