Hellz no. Why would I pay $500+ for an enlarged ipod touch? I'm already not an apple fan, but If I were to consider dropping that kind of money, I would want a full fledged OS.
haha, not a single yes. Im just curious to who would be the target market for this. I can see it being something that you leave instead of a magazine on a coffee table or something your technologically stunted mum would use but neither are screaming as high market potentials.
I will 2nd or 3rd gen if they actually make it better. It has potential to be the greatest time waster out there and has fantastic battery life. I always had a problem with the itouchs and iphones cause it almost seems to small to enjoy like 95% of the stuff that it can do, like surfing the web, watching movies, ect.
I'm really hoping it completely fails. It is an Apple product, though, so my hopes will probably be demolished.

I like the idea behind it, the whole sitting on your couch, peacefully surfing the web. The lighter weight, the touch controls make that great. The price, lack of flash, lack of webcam and general audacity behind it just makes that idea seem sad.... Let alone the name..
Absolutely not. The iPad is such a rip off. It has no flash support, rendering it useless as a substitute for a netbook. Not to mentiont hat there is no multitasking and to even plug in a USB device you need some ugly adapters hanging off of it. Yet people will still buy it because people are stupid and don't research the products they buy, they just see a sleek looking new touch screen laptop and throw their money at it. I'd love to see people's faces when they cant watch ANYTHING WITH FLASH AKA 80% OF THE INTERNET.
Absolutely not. That thing looks very useless to me. If i want to listen to music i do it with my MP3 player or with my PC. If i want to surf the internet i do it with my PC. Playing games? Consoles or PC. Watching movies? PS3 or PC
No thanks. It's too large to be an iPod Touch, which (functionally) it has the most in common with. And it's too featureless to compete with laptops and netbooks of similar prices. I have no idea what its market is.
An ipad is exactly like their macs, Hilariously overpriced. With the exception that it only can do the same as an ipod, but without the abillity to have it in your pocket
