If money is no object here then I just might. Build what I want on it and call it a day. But of course- location location location. It couldn't be just anywhere.
Hell yeah, though I don't know if I would buy a tropical island somewhere, or an island up in northern Europe somewhere, like around Scandanavia or northern Russia. Provided I had all the comforts of home there.
Man your own private island would be beyond amazing. Think about it, your own isolated place where you can stay away from people and other things when you want to.
...thats rather cheap! .. .Well if I was super rich, I would buy 2. One for myself, and the other I would do something with, like make a resort. I would put my own internet on it (since id be super rich), and a spa for the other rich folk who would want to come to my get away and pay me lots of money for it... but id make condos on the beach with different features or services so that not so rich people could come visit my island too. Only way to get to my islands would be by my personal helicopter system, or by ferry. (Id have 'emergency escape boats incase somethin happened tho). I would make sure my islands had some various levels of elevation, too, cause elevation is goooood. Chances are tho, the islands I purchase would be volcanic (since most of em are basically), and they would go active on me :|. But id be rich so i could repair and rebuild ^_^.
yes. i would buy an island. but really though. dont think I would be able to afford something like that without stumbling across a really lucky buisness idea or something.
Holy crap, only 300,000 for an island in wisconsin... like right up the road from me lol. And it has lake front plus a cabin, and the majority part of an island thats zoned for building. Nifty ^_^ too bad I dont have 50,000 to put down on it, nor do i make 1,000 somethin a month to put towards the monthly payments they want. v_v

Not really, at least not in this stage of my life. Just the hassle of getting in/out of the island makes my head spin, and how do I show off my awesome wealth to the public if I hide myself away on an island?
