Ever since the beginning of time, this question has baffled Toy Story audiences:

If Buzz Lightyear doesn't know he's a toy, why does he not speak when the humans are around?

Anyone know the answer to this question, it's annoying me...

Well, they're bigger than him, so maybe he thinks they're monsters and so he's afraid of them.

Because deep down he knows hes a toy thats why he acts so high and mighty/self conscious around other toys the whole time,
