C is average based on a 4.0 grade system. Darth matt
I don't think that's entirely true...that's BS. Except for the "it should be average" part which I agree with. A "C" should be average but teachers don't have the guts these days to give kids grades lower than a "B." High school courses are based way too much on effort and they count home work way too heavily and don't count tests enough. It's easier to get better grades now. No question about it. Grades have gone up, test scores have gone down. This is implying that kids are learning less material but getting higher grades than ever before.
It should be average...
And it's not really anymore easy to get good grades now... In fact, it's probably harder...
The world is simply getting way too competitive and failure is less tolerated.
You can't be average and survive, so everyone has to be perfect or kiss a nice life good bye.

anyways it seems pretty obvious to me that there is no way a C can be an average grade in high schools these days because of how much grade inflation there is. like a totally average GPA is probably closer to 3.00 making B's more the average... I just felt like putting that out there because way too many kids are trying to say that a "C" is average still but it's not... it USED to be average a long time ago back when it used to be harder to get good grades in high school but not anymore...TheOT_KingI dont really care...like at all. Sorry.
