I'm sorry but i just cannot decide, you also cannot forget Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik which is also a fantastic album!!
Stadium Arcadium represents an evolution for the band and is an amazing album. I far prefer it over Californication and believe it to be the best Red Hot Chili Pepper album yet.

Agreed, Stadium Arcadium has some great songs, but Californication is an amazing album.

I've only fully listened to that album. :P But I've heard parts of Stadium Arcadium and Californication, and I can definitely say Blood Sugar Sex Magik was their best work. I love californication, and can play all the songs but the bass in the older albums destroys the new stuff, stadium was waaaaaay too much filler

Yes it does have a lot of filler but it also has just as many if not more "big tracks" than Californication and Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik.
