Too young to understand? What's so hard to understand about that movie, and I think most of the people that worship it are young people.
The movie relates very well (as a gangster film) to a mostly college/teen audience. Never has a movie with such good actors/dialogue been able to nail that type of genre audience before.
You dont have to like what everybody else likes but I enjoyed it. I recommend watching it a couple of times because it is one of those types of movies. Its like Anchorman, the first time I watched it the movie was whatever but the more I watched it the more jokes I saw and the funnier it got.

Same here. Great movie. Greatest ever? I think not. It was a one-liner fest and had some deep characters' but I just didn't think it was that great...super_mario_128
I agree with this. It's certainly fun to watch, but it doesn't make it into my top 20.
that movie has been elavated to level beyond what it should be because one it is a good fil and itwo because it has many one liners that are quotable. your right though the movie is only good not great and anybody who says Tarentino is overated is 100% right because his movie usually has bad dialogue and the story is almost always as fake as it gets. that being said i still like his movies because they bring the cool factor.

Great cast, great conversations, great soundtrack, weird situations like the one with Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames in the pawn shop, Samuel Jackson quoting that fake text from the Bible, What else can you ask for/
