I just got a brand new HDTV, and there is a small dent on the bezel of the TV. The bezel is the frame around the actual screen. However, the dent is so small that you can only see it in a certain angle when there is a reflection on it. I keep having these thoughts that the TV screen can be affected by that little dent in the long run. I get OCD like this whenever I get a new gadget. Am I overreacting?

If it is small like you described then no it wont affect the screen. If it is brand new though You have the option to return it for a replacement.

A dent of that size won't negatively impact the screen; unless of course it getting banged up messed with some of the internal wiring.

Nonetheless, if you're apprehensive bring it back to whichever store you purchased it from. Most retailers have a pretty reasonable return policy when it comes to TV's(usually 15 or 30 days).

You can put a sticker over it to make it hide away :3
